Air Slides are used for pneumatic transport of dry materials. The air ducts consist of two main parts and the air permeable gland is stretched between the two parts. The air fed by the fan from the lower part is evenly distributed over the entire surface of the chamber. As the air passes through the chamber, it ventilates the material layer above the chamber and makes it fluid. Flowing material flows in the direction of the slope, so air slide systems provide the most advantageous solution where there is sufficient slope for material flow. In this case, a wide range of materials can be transported at very low speeds, while the cost of the system required for the facility is seriously reduced. Air slides can be regarded as an extreme form of dense phase conveying.
