The Ashpump system is equipped with a discharge valve so that it can be isolated from the conveying line and has a vent line and valve so that it can be de-pressurized independently of the conveying line. The discharge is via the pipe positioned on top the vessel curve, above the fluidizing membrane. Ashpump systems are the most suitable for powdered materials because of the fluidization of the material. They are also capable of achieving the highest feed rates and are recommended for materials conveyed in dense phase.
